Emil and his sister, Colette, grew up in a village between the borders of Aliech and Filenore. Their parents migrated from Everwatch, which is why they both hate magic. He despised his parents for not taking care of him and his sister. However, at the age of 7, what made him finally leave their village was when his father hurt Colette for attempting to learn magic. He could take on the abuse inflicted on him but he would absolutely not tolerate it once they do it to his little sister. After leaving the village, they ended up in an orphanage in Filenore. As the orphanage is close to Aliech, the both of them would play around in the forests in Aliech, practicing magic and the like. While they were playing one day, an Illuna sorceress approached them and offered to teach them. Emil, cautious at that time, declined and urged Colette to go back to the orphanage next to him. The next day, the same sorceress, who introduced herself as Allegra Belmont, decided to adopt the both of them. She taught both of them as they were both proficient at it. Soon, the two would treat the jolly sorceress like a mother. Emil would then become Allegra's greatest pupil, easily learning each spell taught to him. Upon growing up, He went to the Kingdom of Herad to further study magic. Currently, he is now a researcher in Gwydion, a magic academy in Herad, and occasionally teaches the students there as well. He also takes on mercenary jobs, often teaming up with other people.
